Songbird is a giant, monstrous, mechanical bird whose design was used and built similar to the Big Daddies. His only weapons weapons are his metallic talons, immense size, strength and speed which makes him the most feared creature in the city of Columbia.
Songbird was created to keep Elizabeth imprisoned within her tower. He was her only company and brings her books, food and drinks. He is fiercely protective of Elizabeth and will destroy anything and anyone that gets in his way, inculding Booker DeWitt.
